San Diego Gulls AHL Dia de los Muertos Day of the Dead Hockey Jersey
The San Diego Gulls AHL Dia de los Muertos Day of the Dead Hockey Jersey brings together two worlds that rarely share the same space: the fast, physical energy of American Hockey League fandom and the rich visual tradition of Día de los Muertos. The result is a jersey with a personality of its own, built for fans who want their game-day gear to say something. Whether you follow the Gulls closely or simply appreciate a bold, festive hockey look, this piece gives you a way to celebrate both the sport and the holiday in one wearable design.
Product Overview
This jersey is designed around a calavera-inspired theme, using decorative skull artwork and team-referencing details to create a look that feels celebratory rather than ordinary. The Day of the Dead direction gives it a seasonal character that works especially well around late October and early November, but the design is strong enough to wear well beyond the holiday. It fits naturally into a hockey fan’s wardrobe as a change-of-pace option from a standard team jersey, and it also appeals to collectors of themed sports apparel. Because it is listed under HockeyCustom, it sits comfortably among fans who enjoy distinctive, personalized-style jersey designs rather than plain, off-the-shelf looks.
Design & Style
The visual appeal here comes from the contrast between hockey styling and the ornate, colorful language of Day of the Dead art. The skull motif gives the jersey a focal point that reads clearly from a distance, while team colors and AHL context keep it grounded as sports apparel. Styling is straightforward: pair it with jeans or joggers for a relaxed game-day outfit, layer it over a long-sleeve tee in cooler weather, or wear it as the centerpiece of a themed look for Día de los Muertos events, Halloween gatherings, or watch parties. It also works as a conversation piece in a jersey collection, especially for fans who like designs that mix sports culture with cultural celebration. At $54.00, it is a considered pick for someone who wants a distinctive hockey jersey without treating it as a one-time costume.

Care & Use
To keep the jersey looking its best, check the care label attached to the garment and follow those instructions first. Wash gently and avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, which can dull printed artwork over time. Turning the jersey inside out before washing helps reduce surface wear, and storing it folded or hung in a dry place away from direct sunlight protects the design between wears.
Why It Stands Out
Most hockey jerseys stay within a narrow visual lane. This one steps outside it by treating the Day of the Dead theme as part of the design rather than an afterthought, giving San Diego Gulls fans and hockey collectors a piece that feels timely, colorful, and personal. It is a jersey for the fan who wants game-day gear with a story behind it.
